About the Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapy Practitioner to join our team as a Clinical Lead. As a key member of our Occupational Therapy service, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of occupational therapists to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of occupational therapists to deliver high-quality services to clients
- Develop and implement plans of support to improve wellbeing and deliver outcomes for clients
- Manage and support others to manage a varied and complex caseload
- Collaborate with clients, family members, and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Develop and lead on specialist areas of service delivery
- Support the Team Manager in day-to-day management, team development, and performance
Requirements
- Diploma/BSc Occupational Therapy or recognised equivalent Occupational Therapy qualification
- Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience of undertaking assessments in complex situations and occupational therapy intervention planning, implementation, and review
- Extensive experience of working in partnership with clients and maintaining a focus on their needs and strengths
- Experience of managing risk within a risk enablement approach
- Excellent working knowledge of relevant legislation, e.g., Care Act (2014), Mental Capacity Act
- Current clinical/fieldwork educators training and Fieldwork Educators accreditation (desirable)
- Valid, full driving licence
