About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Rotational Scheme in Chichester/Bognor. This exciting opportunity will provide you with the chance to develop your skills and competencies in a variety of specialities, including Working Age Acute Mental Health, Inpatient Mental Health Rehabilitation, Community Therapy Team, and Inpatient Rehabilitation Services.

Main Duties

  • Working Age Acute Mental Health: Acute inpatient service based at Oaklands Hospital in Chichester, providing opportunities for developing assessment and individual and group intervention skills.
  • Inpatient Mental Health Rehabilitation: Based at Connolly House rehabilitation unit in Chichester, working alongside people who have experienced psychosis and using OT skills to support recovery and community participation.
  • Community Therapy Team: Working closely with other members of the MDT to provide holistic rehabilitation in people's homes following hospital admission or to reduce the risk of hospital admission.
  • Inpatient Rehabilitation Services: Rehabilitation on the wards in the Intermediate Care Unit at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital, facilitating intensive rehabilitation to support people safely back to their own homes or their place of choice.
