Disability Support Position in Berkshire

This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the lives of children and young people with disabilities in Berkshire. As a Social Worker, you will form close relationships with individuals aged 0 to 18 who require tailored support.

About the Opportunity:
  • Empower children and young people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives.
  • Staying abreast of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, the Children and Families Act 2014, and the Care Act 2014.
  • Supporting young people in navigating the transition to adulthood, fostering resilience and confidence.
  • Assisting disabled children and young people in meeting their personal care needs, promoting autonomy and self-sufficiency.
  • Guiding clients on equipment and property adaptations to ensure seamless integration into independent living.
Competitive Package:
  • A salary of up to £49,500, including an annual market supplement of £8,000, a welcome payment of £5,000 after completion of probationary period, and a loyalty payment of £3,000 after 12- and 24-months service.

Qualifications and Registration:
  • Must hold a Social Work qualification.
  • Must be registered with Social Work England.
