This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with disabilities. As a Social Worker, you will join our team in Berkshire to work closely with individuals aged 0 to 18 who require support.

About the Role:
  • Care for children and young people with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, the Children and Families Act 2014, and the Care Act 2014.
  • Support young people in preparing for transition to adulthood and help them navigate this process.
  • Assist disabled children and young people in meeting personal care needs, promoting independence.
  • Advise on equipment and property adaptations to enable seamless transitions into independent living.

Requirements:
  • Must have a Social Work qualification.
  • Must be registered with Social Work England.
