Job Description

This role involves leading tier 2 cover for intensive care, high dependency, special care, transitional care, and postnatal wards, conducting ward rounds with consultant supervision. You will also hold the emergency tier 2 bleep covering the labour suite and theatres for normal deliveries, emergency, and elective caesarean sections (including unexpected deliveries in the Emergency Department).

You will conduct internal transfers of babies, attend neonatal clinics with consultants, and provide antenatal counselling for women that present to the delivery suite in threatened preterm labour.

The estimated salary for this position is £75,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tier 2 cover for intensive care, high dependency, special care, transitional care, and postnatal wards.
