Job Title: Commercial Lead - Quantity Surveyor

Location: London, UK

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum

A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead - Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a high-profile Cut and Carve project valued at £50m.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on large-scale construction projects, with a strong background in quantity surveying and commercial management. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize project value, ensuring that main contractual obligations are executed and regularly reviewed.

Duties:
  • Be the commercial lead on a £50m Cut and Carve Commercial Project based in London.
  • Develop and encourage project team performance, ensuring that main contractual obligations and strategies are executed and regularly reviewed.
  • Complete and submit monthly CVR and progress reports.
  • Demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies/build up and work to the profit plan.
  • Agree external valuations/cash flow to maximize project value.
  • Produce main and subcontract final accounts.

Requirements:
  • An experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in quantity surveying and commercial management.
  • Cut and Carve experience.
  • Experience in leading projects.
  • Ambitions to progress to Managing Quantity Surveyor.
