Senior Nurse Leader

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse / RMN or Learning Disability Nurse / RNLD to fill the position of Clinical Team Leader at our NHS Cygnet Hospital Harrow. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a £3000 welcome bonus and an estimated annual salary of £60,000 based on location and experience.
About the RoleThe Clinical Team Leader will be responsible for supervising nurses and support workers, ensuring effective allocation of care duties, and monitoring staff rotas to guarantee efficient staffing on shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise nurses and support workers in allocating care duties effectively.
- Monitor staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing on shifts.
- Coordinate patient programs of care, focusing on risk assessment and management strategies.
- Duties may include acting up for the Head of Care or Hospital Manager in their absence.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Registered Nurse with a current Pin Number.
- A good understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices.
- Compassion, resilience, and dedication to empowering service user independence.
- The ability to deputise in a clinical manager role.
