Senior HR Generalist

Focusing Resourcing is seeking a skilled HR Manager to join their team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will oversee HR functions, including managing one HR Administrator, and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
About the Role:This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Performance Management: Oversee probation reviews and annual appraisals, ensuring that managers receive necessary training and support.
- Compensation and Benefits: Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages, leading monthly payroll processes and coordinating with finance to manage salary administration.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and create or facilitate programs to enhance employee skills, compliance training, and leadership development.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure adherence to labour laws and company policies.
- HR Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with organisational goals, driving business success.
- Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate day-to-day HR records, preparing reports as needed.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR function.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, labour relations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise work effectively.
- Good IT skills, particularly in Excel and web-based systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a team spirit, willing to work collaboratively within the organisation.
- 24 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, increasing to 29 days with service.
