We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Brainkind Neurological Centre York. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurological rehabilitation and a passion for making a difference in the lives of our service users.

The estimated salary for this role is £29,970 - £36,483 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals with complex mental and physical health needs, using your skills and expertise to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To provide specialist input to individuals with acquired brain injury, using skills and knowledge in neurological rehabilitation.
  2. To work collaboratively with other professionals to identify and address occupational performance and skill deficits.
  3. To implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate progress, ensuring that individuals achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
  4. To communicate effectively with individuals, families, and carers, using interpersonal skills to engage and support.
  5. To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring that they meet the needs of our service users.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with individuals with acquired brain injury.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
