About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant - Occupational Therapy to join our team. As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the Ward and delivering a high-quality service to our patients.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and delivery of treatment and care plans under the direction and supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide individualized care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supporting Service Users with activities throughout the therapeutic day under the supervision of senior Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychological Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists.
  2. Working innovatively and effectively to carry out a range of activities under non-directive supervision to support and deliver a programme of meaningful activities.
  3. Assisting in planning and facilitating both individual and group work with Service Users.
  4. Being involved in The Occupational Therapy Process to ensure Service Users increase their independence and well-being.
