Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Brunswick ward. As a key member of the occupational therapy service department, you will work collaboratively with qualified occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.
The successful candidate will have a Diploma level 2 in Health & Social Care or a commitment to achieve this qualification. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to plan and deliver activities that promote patient independence and well-being.
Working hours will be varied, including weekends, to ensure a 7-day service that meets the needs of our patients. The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of treatment and care plans under the direction and supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
The salary for this role is £25,528 per annum, which reflects the importance of your contribution to our team and the value we place on your skills and experience.
