Job Summary
Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Manager to join our team in Aberdeen or Blyth. As a key member of our Service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our offshore wind turbines across three sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of site-based personnel to deliver optimized operation of customer assets, encompassing quality, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance, production performance, asset security, operations, and maintenance activities, and employee development.
- Work closely with customers in collaboration with the customer management team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage complex logistics, including multiple crew transfer vessels (CTVs), to ensure timely and efficient maintenance and repair of turbines.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
- Technical education or degree qualified, or relevant industry experience.
- Solid experience working in a similar position in an international service organization within the wind or offshore industry.
- Proven experience in leadership and people management, with a focus on developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Good business skills, with a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
- Financial insight and experience with full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility, including knowledge of key figures and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
