Cybersecurity Strategist

Barclays Bank is seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Consultant to spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape. As a key member of our security team, you will drive innovation and excellence in our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, mitigate, and remediate security weaknesses in technology solutions, infrastructure, and platform security.
- Develop and implement secure systems and architecture across a broad set of security domains, including data security, security risk management, asset security, and security architecture and engineering.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to support incident response and investigations, sharing security insights and expertise.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures aligned to Barclays' risk tolerance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice.
- Advise key stakeholders on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
- Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
As a Lead Security Consultant at Barclays Bank, you will be expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, as well as the Barclays Mindset of Empower, Challenge, and Drive.
