Cybersecurity Lead Job Description

Your new role will be to develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies, assessing and managing cybersecurity risks, and leading incident response and recovery efforts. You will play a key part in promoting security awareness through internal training and supporting the implementation of security changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect the organization's assets and data.
  2. Assess and manage cybersecurity risks, identifying and mitigating potential threats.
  3. Lead incident response and recovery efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  4. Promote security awareness through internal training and education programs.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security changes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) and knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficient in O365 tools (SharePoint, Teams) and knowledge of ITIL V3/V4 Foundation (desirable).
  • Experience with project management for implementing security systems, process improvement, and delivering training sessions.
