About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Continuity Manager to join our team in Farnborough, UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global science and technology solutions leader, Leidos, and contribute to solving the world's toughest challenges.

Job Description

The IT Continuity Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing service continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring consistency with ISO22301 and other related standards. You will collaborate with the Service Management Team to provide guidance and support to Leidos and customers. Your expertise will be essential in creating SC and DR response plans for user-centric services, utilizing Leidos SCDR / BCDR / ITSCM documentation.

You will also work closely with the Solution Manager and Chief Engineer to develop service continuity and resilient solutions, completing Business / Service Impact Analysis (BIA/ SIA) and managing risks accordingly. Additionally, you will be involved in transitioning new services from Projects to Business as Usual (BAU) through formal Service Transition processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop SCDR documentation and processes required for each programme aligned to ISO22301.
  • Collaborate with the Service Management Team to provide guidance and support to Leidos and customers.
  • Complete Business / Service Impact Analysis (BIA/ SIA) and manage risks accordingly.
  • Transition new services from Projects to Business as Usual (BAU) through formal Service Transition processes.
Requirements
  • CBCI / MBCI / AMBCI – Business Continuity Institute certification.
  • ITIL v3 / 4 certification.
  • Experience of writing quality proposals and tender documents.
  • A detailed knowledge of service delivery concepts and techniques.
