About the Role

As a Senior Clinical Dietitian at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality dietetic service to a complex caseload of patients on surgical and other wards. You will lead clinical teams and provide expertise to patients, carers, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities
- Lead clinical Dietitian for Nutrition Team providing a source of expertise to patients, carers, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals.
- Responsible for delivery of a high quality, evidence-based dietetic service to a complex caseload of patients on surgical and other wards as required holding responsibility for defined projects.
- Contribute to ward rounds as part of the nutrition team and provide specialist input for a range of patients including those requiring parenteral and enteral nutrition.

Requirements
- Registration with Health Professions Council
- Member of British Dietetic Association
- Evidence of other post-registration education and training/CPD e.g. PENG, counselling skills to expert level or evidence of significant experience in specialty area
- Willingness to undertake training to become supplementary prescriber
