Job Title: Homeless Outreach Worker

Location: Ripley - Covering Erewash, Amber Valley, & South Derbyshire

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Homeless Outreach Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outreach team, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outreach work in the community to promote independence and encourage positivity and healthy lifestyles.
  • Support individuals with complex needs, including drug and alcohol abuse and mental health issues.
  • Work closely with other agencies to provide a comprehensive support package.
  • Make quick decisions to help individuals in crisis and refer them to external agencies as needed.
Requirements
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
