Process Control Engineer

Auxeris is seeking a skilled Process Control Engineer to join their team in Cumbria. As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the company's manufacturing processes.
About the Role
This is an onsite position that requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the multi-skilled engineering team to drive automation and process improvements across the site.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all safety requirements are met when working with machinery and systems
- Rectify system/PLC faults and identify root cause
- Create new PLC programs and software updates as needed
- Maintain plant and equipment to the highest standards
Requirements
- Engineering degree or HNC with industrial experience
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Ladder Logic, C+, Structured text)
- Adaptability, openness, and honesty
