Job Overview

A leading international bank is seeking an exceptional Financial Crime Director to join their London-based team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scaling Financial Crime functions and experience in leading teams across various areas of Financial Crime.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the bank's growth plans and strategy, working closely with the COO to shape the structure and strategy of the bank from a Financial Crime perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a scalable international Financial Crime infrastructure proportionate to the bank's ambition
  • Lead and develop a sizable team across all areas of Financial Crime
  • Influence key decision-making stakeholders and leadership peers to shape the bank's strategy from a Financial Crime perspective
  • Work closely with the COO to achieve ambitious growth plans

About You:

  • You are a true hands-on Financial Crime leader with experience in scaling Financial Crime functions
  • Have a proven track record of leading teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Bring energy and commitment to the function and bank's growth, ambition, and success

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £160,000 - £190,000 fixed plus bonus and benefits. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 1-2 days in London per week.

The bank values diversity and encourages applications from experienced Financial Crime leaders who have not worked in Financial Services but have relevant experience in another highly regulated sector.
