Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Financial Crime Director in London. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in shaping our financial crime risk management strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing financial crime risks within a retail-focused financial services environment, including familiarity with customer due diligence, regulations, and fraud prevention strategies. They will also possess in-depth knowledge of financial crime laws and regulations, including AML, Sanctions, ABC, and fraud prevention.

We offer a competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our financial crime framework across the Life business, aligning with our Policies and Standards for financial crime.
  • Provide leadership and guidance across the Business to ensure effective risk management and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, manage relationships with equivalent financial crime counterparts at M&G and external partners to safeguard our reputation.
