Overview

Weare5vtech, a leader in IoT consumer technology, is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer to join their team in Enschede. As a key player in the Application Engineering team, you will be responsible for driving projects from pre-sales feasibility to project initiation and maintaining strong customer relations.

Salary Package

About the Job

In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to assess the feasibility of customer requests, develop new features, and stay ahead of the competition. Your expertise in RF systems, including WiFi, BLE, Zigbee, Thread, Matter, and SubGig, will be instrumental in defining hardware, software, and mechanical features contributing to the specification of our revolutionary products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feasibility & Advantage Creation: Collaborate with engineering teams to assess customer requests, develop new features, and drive innovation.
  • Product Definition: Define product specifications, including hardware, software, and mechanical features, to meet customer needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
  • A good understanding of systems architecture, including electronics, software, and embedded solutions, to design and develop cutting-edge products.
  • Proficiency in speaking the language of RF systems, with experience in consumer RF technologies like WiFi, BLE, Zigbee, Thread, Matter, and SubGig, to drive innovation and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Relevant working experience in customer-facing roles and project coordination, preferably in the field of wireless technology.
  • A flexible mindset and willingness to travel up to 25% for business purposes.
