Job Title: Test and Commissioning Engineer for Signalling Systems
About the Role
Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Test and Commissioning Engineer for Signalling Systems to join our team. As a Test and Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and executing test and commissioning activities for signalling systems in the field, in support of one or several projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute test and commissioning activities for signalling systems in the field
- Work closely with teams across the business, including working with Verification and Validation teams
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Adhere to Alstom's EHS and AZDP rules
Requirements
- Experience or understanding of railway signalling systems
- IRSE licensed tester or engineering manager
- Valid PTS
- IOSH - desirable
- Knowledge of onboard systems
- Familiarity with non-Network Rail organisations
- Knowledge of contract conditions
- Commercial awareness
