About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complementary Therapist to support the physical, emotional, and well-being of our patients, helping to alleviate symptoms and enhance their quality of life.

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing a variety of therapeutic services, such as massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, or other therapies, tailored to the needs of palliative and cancer care patients.

Our aim is to provide and further develop comprehensive holistic patient-centered individually tailored complementary therapy and support throughout the patient journey, from initial diagnosis, through treatment and discharge, including end of life care.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality complementary therapies to patients, including massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, and other therapies.
  • To work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • To maintain accurate records of patient interactions and therapy sessions.
  • To contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for healthcare staff.

Requirements

  • Recognized Diploma in massage/aromatherapy/reflexology.
  • 1-2 years' experience in practicing massage/aromatherapy/reflexology.
  • Knowledge of oncology and relevant treatments given for the treatment of cancer and their side effects.
