About the Role
University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate Complementary Therapist to support the physical, emotional, and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individually tailored complementary therapy and support to patients throughout their journey, from initial diagnosis to end of life care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive holistic patient-centered care plans.
- Deliver a range of therapeutic services, including massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, and other therapies, tailored to patient needs.
- Support patients in managing symptoms and enhancing their quality of life.
Requirements
- Recognised Diploma in massage/aromatherapy/reflexology.
- 1-2 years' experience in practicing massage/aromatherapy/reflexology.
- Knowledge of oncology and relevant treatments given for the treatment of cancer and their side effects.
