About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complementary Therapist to provide a variety of therapeutic services, such as massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, or other therapies, tailored to the needs of palliative and cancer care patients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting the physical, emotional, and well-being of patients, helping to alleviate symptoms and enhance their quality of life.

UHD is collaborating with Forest Holme Hospice Charity to offer patients access to reflexology, Emotional Freedom Technique, Reiki, and aromatherapy.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified in the delivery of reflexology and have registration with CNHC or other relevant body.

Main Responsibilities

The Complementary Therapist will provide individually tailored complementary therapy and support throughout the patient journey, from initial diagnosis, through treatment and discharge, including end of life care.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of oncology and relevant treatments given for the treatment of cancer and their side effects.
