We are seeking a skilled Complementary Therapist to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a Complementary Therapist, you will work closely with our healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to our patients.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Recognised Diploma in massage/aromatherapy/reflexology

Essential Criteria

1-2 years' practising massage/aromatherapy/reflexology

Desirable Criteria

1 year practicing massage/aromatherapy/reflexology in the field of oncology/palliative careExperience in presentations and in TrainingExperience of working in a hospital environment

Knowledge

Essential Criteria

Knowledge of Oncology and relevant treatments given for the treatment of cancer and their side effects

Key Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and analytical skills

Working Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients. You will be required to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our patients.
