Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Community Nursing Team in the Maidstone area. As a Band 6 Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading and managing a team of nurses to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance, as well as experience of leading/managing teams and mentoring junior staff. You will also have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of people at all organisational levels.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and leading change, prioritising care delivery, and managing your own time effectively. You will also be expected to support the implementation of local and national agendas for health, under the guidance of the senior Practitioner.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes
- Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of patients
- Manage and lead change, prioritising care delivery and managing your own time effectively
- Support the implementation of local and national agendas for health, under the guidance of the senior Practitioner
- Communicate complex, sensitive information to individuals and groups
- Valid UK NMC Pin and evidence of L6/L7 professional development
- Minimum 5 years experience in area of practice, including experience of leading/managing teams and mentoring junior staff

- Excellent communication and influencing skills
