About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow in Adult Critical Care to join our team as a Critical Care Specialist Transfer Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for an anaesthetist or intensivist with experience in anaesthesia or intensive care medicine specialist training to apply their skills in a remote but supported environment.

The East of England Adult Critical Care Transfer Service is responsible for providing critical care support during transfers. As a Critical Care Specialist Transfer Consultant, you will work alongside a Transfer Practitioner and an ambulance crew to ensure that patients receive high-quality, safe clinical care.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality, safe clinical care for patients requiring in-transit critical care support.
  • To supervise and support allied health professionals, ensuring compliance with the Service's and Host Trust's policies.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective discussion about medical topics with patients and colleagues. We welcome applications from job seekers who require skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK.
