Role Overview

Julia's House is seeking a skilled and compassionate Team Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team. As a Team Nurse, you will provide exceptional care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, working closely with families to develop strong relationships and meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical nursing care to meet the diverse individual needs of children and young people.
  • Conduct clinical nursing assessments, plan, and deliver care that is evidence-based and in conjunction with Julia's House policies and procedures.
  • Work autonomously, using your clinical judgment to make decisions about nursing care requirements.
  • Participate in an on-call rota system to provide telephone advice for staff and families.
  • Manage the day-to-day care of the client base, including the deployment, supervision, and teaching of Care Team members.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant nursing qualification, such as RSCN/RN (Child Branch) - Diploma or Degree, Registered Learning Disability Nurse, RGN or RN Adult.
  • Have two years' post-qualification experience of working with children with complex needs.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, using your own initiative and contributing to the skill base of the wider team.
  • Hold a full driving license and use of a car for business purposes.
  • Be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
