Job Description: Financial Crime Operations Lead

A pivotal role in shaping the organisation's fraud and financial crime agenda, driving both innovation and operational excellence while protecting customers and the business from economic crime risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for fraud prevention, financial crime detection, and operational resilience.
  • Operational Management: Lead a large, distributed team to deliver excellent service and meet all performance targets.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including reporting, fraud loss forecasting, and risk appetite management.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven senior leadership experience in fraud and financial crime operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal, regulatory, and industry standards in economic crime prevention.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, operational planning, and risk management.

The estimated salary for this role is £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
