About the Role

This role sits within our Partner Oversight team, responsible for ongoing monitoring of clients designated as partners to ensure they have the correct controls in place and operate within Modulr's risk and compliance framework.

The Partner Oversight function is a key part of Modulr's first-line compliance operations, executing processes to mitigate risks related to Financial Crime, Consumer Protection, Financial and Operational Resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Oversight Analysts within the broader Oversight function, with line management responsibilities for 3+ team members.

  • Comfortable making decisions/recommendations on a risk-based approach and supporting others to do so.
  • Experience operating in a regulated business, ideally with understanding and implementation of company AML and CTF policies and procedures, adopting a risk-based approach to ensure controls are proportionate and relevant to the business in question.
  • Structured and organised, able to handle competing pressures of immediate compliance tasks and investigations alongside longer-term projects.
  • Analytical and able to assess risks and define appropriate controls based on these, communicating links, effectiveness, and potential gaps clearly to others.
  • Strong interest in FinTech and financial crime, with a high-level understanding of how fintech businesses work and are financed.

  • $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
