Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist

About the Role
The GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join its Plant and Tool division. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring our customers can hire the equipment they need, when they need it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel across regional depots and customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to equipment.
- Update service records accurately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served.
- Sound knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A customer-focussed approach to workload and commitment to teamwork.
- A valid driving licence is essential.
