Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CAT Machinery Repair Specialist to join our team at Finning International. As a key member of our workshop crew, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment machinery.

About the Role

  • Undertake thorough inspections of machinery to identify areas requiring repair or replacement.
  • Diagnose complex issues using electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute repair work, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in CAT product maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a quality service environment within the plant machinery industry.
  • A strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as practical experience in operating construction equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Possession of a valid license to drive reach trucks and excellent communication skills.
