Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Servicing Specialist to join our team at Actaris Site Services. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing CT scanners, MRI machines, and other ancillary medical equipment. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training to develop expertise in servicing medical imaging devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Chief Engineer in performing routine preventive maintenance on medical imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  2. Conduct diagnostic testing on equipment to identify and address faults, and calibrate and validate medical equipment to meet industry standards and regulatory compliance.
  3. Support the installation of new equipment and the decommissioning of old systems, and maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  4. Liaise with suppliers and external contractors for parts, repairs, and technical support when necessary.
Requirements:
  1. Basic Understanding of Electrical Engineering: A foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles is essential.
  2. Desirable Experience: Any previous experience with CT scanners, MRI machines, injectors, or other medical imaging devices is a significant advantage.
  3. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and find practical solutions.
  4. Willingness to Learn: The candidate should be keen to undergo further training to specialize in medical equipment servicing.
  5. Team Player: Comfortable working within a team under the guidance of the Chief Engineer.
  6. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical staff and stakeholders.
  7. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in maintaining and servicing complex machinery, with a focus on safety and precision.
Training and Development:
  1. Full training will be provided to develop expertise in servicing and maintaining CT, MRI, and other medical equipment.
