About the Role

This Accountancy Assistant position is a key member of the Finance Team, responsible for delivering an effective accountancy service to the Council and its Trading Company. The successful candidate will be proficient in administering accounting software, managing direct debit collections, and responding to finance queries.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including grade A – C in English and Maths.
  • Excellent numeracy, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines.
