Job Title: High Voltage Power Electronics Specialist

Leap29 is seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Power Electronics Specialist to join our team based in Cheshire. This exciting opportunity involves working on the design and development of power electronic systems, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing high voltage power electronic systems to meet product requirements
  • Providing technical expertise on power electronics, interfaces to control and data monitoring systems
  • Collaborating with engineers to develop and mature a portfolio of power exchangers
  • Performing product testing of power electronic systems at 1 MVA and above

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering
  • Experience in formal methodologies and V-cycle for Systems Engineering
  • Knowledge of LV and MV power networks and their topologies
  • Expertise in NI equipment, LabVIEW, and python scripting
