Job Title: High Voltage Equipment Technician

RESA Power, LLC. is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a High Voltage Equipment Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the operation, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of high voltage equipment and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high voltage equipment testing, repairs, and maintenance, including electrical/fluid testing, fluid services, and paint preparation.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, prepare project estimates, expand project work scopes, and assist in negotiating extra charges.
  • Inspect problem areas at customers' sites, report findings to Sales and Project Management, and implement solutions.
  • Ensure all work and decisions comply with regulatory laws and industry standards.
  • Responsible for conducting quality control checks on high voltage equipment and completing test reports in company software within set deadlines.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience, along with 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards (NETA, OSHA, IEEE, NFPA).
  • Able to complete projects consistently within budget and contribute positively to the team.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and Class A CDL is preferred.
Additional Information:

Travel: Up to 100%

Compensation: $52,000 - $62,000 CAD per year (depending on experience)

Work Location: Surrey, BC, Canada

Relocation: No relocation assistance
