Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Asset Specialist to join our team in the Southeast Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining high voltage assets, ensuring the safe completion of inspection and maintenance programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and non-intrusively testing all plant and apparatus associated with the distribution network
  • Repairing minor plant defects associated with the distribution network
  • Taking oil samples from HV Plant
  • Using handheld IT equipment
  • Replacing/testing batteries associated with the distribution network
  • Completing site visits required by the Electricity safety, quality, and continuity regulations

The successful candidate will have a clean driving license, flexibility to work alone or in a team environment, enthusiasm to learn and develop new techniques, and a basic electrical background. This role offers a competitive salary of £31,454 per annum, plus a 3% bonus, and access to a range of benefits including 22 days annual leave, personal pension plan, and employee assistance program.
