Job Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the communications strategy for the UK Cluster, ensuring successful delivery across the UK, and managing a team of direct reports. You will partner with senior leaders, including the Head of Communications, International, to provide strategic communications advice. Your scope will involve developing internal and external communications plans, creating compelling narratives, and cultivating strong relationships with key opinion leaders in national and international media.

Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for the cluster
- Leading day-to-day management of the Communications network
- Creating a proactive media relations strategy for the cluster
- Cultivating strong relationships with key opinion leaders in national and international media
- Defending Citi's reputation in the media and escalating issues promptly
- Managing reputational risks and tracking measures of success

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have a track record of creating and executing comprehensive public affairs strategies, experience managing teams in public affairs, and a strong understanding of the UK media landscape. You should also have excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and manage time effectively. A good understanding of branding/sponsorship activities and their alignment with business strategy is also essential.

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is around £85,000 - £105,000, including a competitive base salary and a discretionary annual performance-related bonus.
