**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate to join our team at the University of Cambridge. This is a part-time position, working on a 12-month fixed-term contract with possible extension subject to funding.

The successful candidate will contribute to an expanding programme of research investigating the need for neuropsychological support for Huntington's disease patients. The role will focus particularly on collecting relevant data to compile a business case to fund neuropsychological support for Huntington's disease patients in the long term.

We seek applicants with a PhD in neurodegenerative diseases, and relevant experience and specialist knowledge in the field of Huntington's disease. The successful candidate will ideally have 3 years of postdoctoral experience in neurodegenerative diseases. The post holder will work within a close clinical and scientific team of clinical trial coordinators, doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, and clinicians.

The salary for this position is £**45,000 - £55,000 per annum**, depending on experience. Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check (enhanced with adults' barred list) and a health assessment. This appointment also requires an Honorary Clinical Contract.
