About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Pre-Assessment team at Ashtead Hospital, Ramsay Health Care UK.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to provide focused care to patients, ensuring they are suitable for surgery by liaising with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing patients' medical history, current medications, allergies, and any relevant medical conditions.
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient journeys.
  • Providing high-quality care to patients while maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration
  • Previous experience working within a surgical ward ideal but not a requirement
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character

  • Competitive salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
