About the Role

The Internal Communications Manager is a pivotal position within TalkTalk Group's Consumer Business, responsible for ensuring colleagues are informed about the company's strategy, vision, and goals. This role plays a crucial part in driving employee engagement, sharing company updates, and fostering a culture of open communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to engage employees and promote company culture.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to create and disseminate company-wide announcements, updates, and messaging.
  • Provide comms business partner-style service to the TalkTalk Executive Committee, driving colleague engagement and understanding of strategy.
  • Manage and coordinate company-wide events, including project planning, budget management, and delegate experience.
  • Develop and maintain online communities across digital channels, ensuring seamless communication and engagement.
  • Support and guide employee networks to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Monitor and analyze employee engagement metrics, providing insights to inform future communication strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in driving results in employee engagement, using various tools and data.
  • Expertise in internal communications, working in a fast-paced environment, and managing change.
  • Strong communication and strategic skills, with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive projects.
  • Self-reliant, takes initiative, and proactive, with strong stakeholder management skills.
