About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Development Director. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our fundraising efforts and play a key role in driving the growth and success of MQ Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Fundraising: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure new funding opportunities and grow existing relationships with foundations, corporations, and individual donors.
  • Grant Writing: Research and write compelling grant proposals to secure funding from foundations and other grant-making organizations.
  • Donor Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing donors and identify new opportunities to engage with potential supporters.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the fundraising team to ensure the successful delivery of fundraising initiatives.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of fundraising efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize fundraising strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in fundraising, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of fundraising principles, practices, and trends, with knowledge of grant-making organizations and their priorities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or non-profit management.
