Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic health charity to recruit for a Fundraising Manager in order to ensure that fundraising ideas and events are in place that have high impact and will generate funds to agreed targets.

You will go out into the community to create a network with groups and individuals, offering high quality fundraising options and lifting the profile of the charity. Working closely with community groups, the ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, keen for direct contact with people, be good at motivating and be self-confident as well as a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.

As a Fundraising Manager you will:

Initiate, develop and implement the Fundraising strategy and plan for the CharityLead, promote and co-ordinate fundraising events and activities, ensuring that sponsorship funds are processed effectively and events are well planned,Manage an enthusiastic team of threeDefine and lead the campaigns strategy to create special campaigns or appeals to raise awareness to a range of community audiences to boost profileRecruit, supervise and manage volunteers ensuring that their activities are compliant with fundraising practice and any legal frameworksInitiate, develop and cultivate long term relationships with local charitable groupsDefine and manage messaging for local newspapers and radio, with prior agreement, to maximise publicity and awareness of the charity and any local fundraising activitiesDefine, create and manage Donor communications and thank you letters as appropriateIn order to be successful, you must have experienced :Significant Fundraising ExperienceStrong verbal and written communication skills in all media including face to faceSignificant fundraising event management experienceExtensive & demonstrable experience and understanding of Charity & fundraising best practiceSetting and meeting fundraising targetsAbility to work using own initiative with minimal supervisionExperience in donor management, CRM and creating a Charity Community Identification & recruitment of potential new supporters for the CharitySignificant experience in communications / PR /marketingStrong interpersonal skills with ability to relate to donors & staff Salary: £43,742 per annum Contract type: Permanent Location: Brighton , hybrid working, minimum 3 days a week in the office Deadline: on rolling basis Interview: ASAP Recruitment process: Cv and Supporting Statement to If this sounds like you, then please do get in touch ASAP As leading charity recruitment specialists and a certified B CorpTM, Harris Hill is committed to high and ever-improving standards of equitable and inclusive recruitment.
