**Job Title:** Senior Healthcare Assistant
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a 98-bed Care Home that specializes in Residential, Nursing, and Dementia Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet the personal care and hygiene needs of residents, respecting their dignity and promoting independence.
- Assist in the care of residents' physical environment and general day-to-day activities.
- Complete medication rounds and record information as necessary in a clear and precise manner.
- Communicate effectively with residents, carers, and other professionals.
- Guide and supervise Care Assistants in their day-to-day routine.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home and participate in appropriate training.
- Understand and implement safeguarding responsibilities to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support.
- Undertake any other duties that are a reasonable request from Management for the benefit of the Home.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Senior position.
- Experience in a care home.
- Experience in dementia care.
- Level 3 NVQ.
