Meridian Business Support is partnering with a leading clinical homecare company to recruit an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist due to company growth. We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate nurse to join our oncology division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of patients in their homes, providing care planning, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections, and patient training throughout their treatment.
- Work independently, mainly solo, as part of a wider oncology team who look after 100,000 patients each year.
- Display a high level of care and empathy to help patients achieve their goals and regain their independence.
- Travel extensively between patients, requiring a full UK driving license.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse - Oncology with a valid NMC PIN.
- Formal Oncology qualifications or SACT passport.
- In-house Oncology training to administer SACT, cannulation, and venepuncture competency.
