The Role

Are you ready to take your culinary skills to the next level? As our Apprentice Chef Manager, you'll be at the heart of our school's catering operations. You'll craft delicious meals, inspire your team, and make our school kitchen the best in town.

Here's what you'll do:
  1. Lead & Inspire: Train, coach, and motivate your kitchen team.
  2. Hands-On Management: Manage stock, costs, and standards.
  3. Menu Magic: Develop exciting, nutritious menus that kids love.
  4. Promotions & Events: Drive sales with fun promotions and events.
  5. Stay Sharp: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Training and Apprenticeship

You'll study your Hospitality Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard through a mix of online and face-to-face workshops and coaching sessions. You could gain English and Maths qualifications, as well as Highfield Level 2 Food Safety and Level 3 Allergen Management certifications.

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, plus benefits. You'll work Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, with no late nights (38 weeks per year, based on term time, with an additional 6 weeks for learning).
