Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production of a wide range of desserts, from traditional cakes and pastries to innovative sweets and confections
  • Work closely with our events team to develop customized dessert menus for conferences, weddings, and other special occasions
  • Collaborate with our chef de cuisine to design and implement new dessert concepts, using seasonal ingredients and creative techniques
  • Ensure that all desserts meet our rigorous standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control

Requirements and Qualifications

  • NVQ 1 & 2 or equivalent culinary qualifications, with a focus on pastry arts and dessert production
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing a team of pastry chefs
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • A flexible attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances

Salary Estimate

We offer a highly competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to this, you'll enjoy a range of benefits that make our pastry chefs feel truly valued and supported.
