Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into fraud cases, gathering evidence and developing lines of enquiry.
  • Assist the case team in exercising powers under Section 2 CJA 1987.
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify relevant information and evidential material.
  • Plan and conduct interviews with victims, witnesses, and suspects.
  • Obtain written statements on matters relevant to the investigation.
  • Participate in case conferences and contribute to the team's understanding of case information.
  • Support the disclosure process and manage victims and witnesses in accordance with the Code of Practice for Victims of Crime and The Witness Charter.
  • Provide evidence in court when required.

Person Specification:
