Are you passionate about nutrition and health? We have an exciting opportunity for a Dietetic Assistant to join our team in North Wales. As a Dietetic Assistant, you will work closely with Registered Dietitians to provide high-quality nutritional care to patients. Your duties will include assisting with reviews, carrying out related tasks, and providing administration support to the broader nutrition and dietetics service.

Main Duties
  • Liaise with hospital staff, catering teams, and patients to ensure accurate therapeutic diets are provided.
  • Provide direct and non-direct support to patients and carers under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive correct nutritional care, including modified menus, sip feeds, food supplements, and snacks. You will also contribute to the delivery of education sessions and patient engagement activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in nutrition and health, with a Quality Credit Framework qualification at level 3 or equivalent. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required as part of the recruitment process.

Benefits
